WHAT IS FACIAL REJUVENATION?

 

Facial rejuvenation is a combination of body and facial acupuncture, followed by  Gua sha, facial cupping and tuina to address facial concerns related to aging, stress, disease or injury.  We can also add light therapy to further enhance your results.

HOW OFTEN SHOULD I HAVE FACIAL REJUVENATION?

It is recommended to have treatment twice weekly for 6 weeks, once weekly for 12 weeks and there after once every 3 months for maintenance care.

 

CONTRAINDICATIONS FOR FACIAL REJUVENATION ACUPUNCTURE:

  • Problems with bleeding

  • The tendency to bruise excessively

  • Pituitary tumours

  • High blood pressure

  • Migraines

  • Diabetes mellitus

  • Serious health conditions such as cancer, AIDS, acute Hepatitis, and coronary disease

  • Avoid ulcerated, irritated or bruised areas, warts, and pigmented moles

  • Seizures and Epilepsy

  • Dizziness

  • Tinnitus

NOT TO BE ADMINISTERED DURING:

  • Pregnancy

  • Flu and colds

  • Acute herpes outbreaks

  • Acute allergic reactions

  • Sunburn
     

CAUTIONS:

  • Former cosmetic surgery

  • Asthmatics

  • Lymphoedema, especially of the face
